Covered Bridge Tour of Athens
The covered bridges throughout the country are historical. In fact, they are considered a treasured architectural achievement and Athens County is home to a myriad of these bridges. In the tour, you will walk through three of the 18 bridges in Hocking Hills.

Athens Audio Tours
Locals and visitors both enjoy these audio tours meant for driving around the region. They are created by Athenian Sandra Sleight-Brennan, and tell the historical tales of the areas long ago and run from Route 33 from Athens all the way to Lancaster Follow.
Historic Uptown Athens Walking Tour
The Ohio University scene is home to the Athens Historic Armory, Court Street and more. This walking tour is self-guided and lets you explore the downtown Uptown features including the shops and restaurants.
Athens County Libations Trail
Locally made beer, wine, and spirits are treasured by locals and visitors to the area. Now you can try as many as you want after a day of touring the libations. The Athens Libations trail takes you to three breweries, three wineries, and a cider house and distillery in a single trip.
