Landowner’s own the oil and gas rights underlying certain property, which may be outlined in your Marcellus or Utica lease with oil and gas drilling companies.

On occasion, drilling companies may trespass specific boundaries outlined in the lease agreements with landowners, and may begin producing oil and gas that belongs to the land owner and is not covered by the lease to the drilling/production company.
